 - Meeting point agreed throughout crossing and on docking (numbered stairway to coach deck).
 - Careful head count before disembarkation.
 - Planned procedure for missing pupils – for example, member of staff to leave as foot passenger.
 - Emergency Plan agreed and briefed if passenger goes overboard.
