Dear TempleMicah Parents:

Temple Micah Religious School’s weekly classes for the 2011-12 school year will begin on Tuesday, September 13th. When I receive your Registration Form, I will send you the calendar for the entire year.

TempleMicah’s objective is to provide our children with a basic Jewish Education in holidays, Hebrew, history and values, without placing undue financial pressures on parents. While we do need to recoup our expenses, we try to keep tuition as low as possible. Please note that registration and the tuition payment are for the entire school yearare due before classes begin. No child can be admitted to a class unless we receive the completed Registration Form - including an emergency phone number - and your tuition payment. If the tuition represents a financial hardship for you, please speak with me before September 13th.

Classes will again be held Tuesday afternoons from 4:45 to 6:15 PMat the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville. We plan to accommodate students in Grades 3-7 in four or five classes, depending on enrollment. The High School Program – which I teach – is for students in grades 8-10. This year, it will meet from 6:15 to 8:00 PM on the third Tuesday of each month; the program will begin on September 20th. TempleMicah will provide dinner. I encourage all our 8th through 10th graders to join this monthly class.

I know our school provides a positive Jewish experience for our students. I encourage you and your family to become part of the TempleMicah community outside of ReligiousSchool by attending our monthly Friday night services and our occasional Shabbat dinners. Students who attend services regularly are much better equipped to begin preparing to become bar/bat mitzvah than those who do not.
