APEH SPRING BREAK ASSIGNMENTS, REVIEW and UPCOMING TESTS

Once we return from spring break, we will have 5 weeks until your AP Euro Exam on Friday May 12.

Review for the exam will begin upon our return from the vacation. However, you will have an opportunity to get ahead on some of the review assignments.

1. IN CLASS DBQS, LEQS and FINAL EXAM

· SAQs – Wednesday April 12

· DBQ – Friday April 14

· LEQ – Monday April 24

· DBQ – Thursday May 4

· Final Exam (Units 9-11) – Friday May 5: No “Fix-Its” for the final exam

2. STUDY GUIDES

· Chapter 27 - due Tuesday, April 11

· Chapter 28 - due Tuesday April 18

· Chapter 29 – due Thursday April 27

3. TIME FOR THE REVIEWING TO BEGIN

o Watch either one of Paul Sargent’s “Bit by Bit” or Tom Richey’s videos every couple of days (there are review pages you can print out from tomrichey.net to go with the videos for review [10 week plan]

o Complete Review Charts (This is made up of many pages, do not print all at once), also you don’t need to find 3 examples for everything, the space is there though if needed

§ Key Concepts Review Chart Period 3, pages 20-29 (posted online): By the end of Spring Break

§ Key Concepts Review Chart Period 4, pages 30-41 (posted online): This is designed to be finished before your final exam so complete by the beginning of May

§ Key Concepts Review Charts for Periods 1 (pages 1-10) & 2 (11-19) are the first half of the packet. I don’t want to overwhelm you so you can work on this if you so desire.

§ You will not receive points for any of these packets. You can do them with a study group.

Note: There will be multiple review assignments after vacation.

4. LEQ Practice: Compete one timed LEQ from the assigned list (Five minutes for planning, 30 minutes of writing)

· I will collect this on Monday April 10 when we return from break.
