Industrial Revolution News Broadcast!
In groups of four, you are going to create a radio broadcast about the Industrial Revolution.
Your news broadcast should include the following:
1)Progress made during the Industrial Revolution with the mention of at least five new inventions and an explanation of how they work and who invented them.
2)A discussion about at least three different political/government changes with information about who is involved in these changes.
3)A discussion about the role of children and women in the work place that consists of at least five historical references.
4)An interview of at least three different inventors who contributed to the industrial revolution. Interview must contain factual information about the inventor and the invention.
- Everyone in your group must participate in the broadcast.
- You must have a fully written script for your broadcast.
- You must have a visual that explains the factual information presented in your broadcast.
- Your grade will be based on the accuracy of your presentation, visual, and your script
- All broadcasts will be presented in front of your class.
- At the beginning of the broadcast, you should introduce your topic, and the names of people involved in the discussion.
