GET NOTICED BY OUR AUDIENCES!

Seen by 250,000 + footfall, the 42-inch plasma screen next to the coffee machine in The Courtyard’s busy Cafe Bar promotes upcoming shows and activities as well as a limited amount of advertising for local businesses. This is a unique and effective advertising vehicle to promote local goods and services to a receptive, directly to audiences and visitors.

Advertising space on this screen is sold on an annual or (biennial) contract for £1,200 plus vat pa (or £1,900 plus vat two years), including the design of a Level 1 advertisement (see costs below).

What do you get?

The content runs on a continuous loop during opening hours (SEVEN days a week, usually 9am to late) all year round, with the exception of one week in July/Aug when we close for maintenance). The showreel offers many ‘opportunities to view’ throughout the day - approx 40 viewings a day.

How does it work?

Advertising space is available as an annual or two-year contract and individual advertisers are then handed across to our production partner Clare Harris to produce the required advertisement.Advertisers who want a more complex design of ad (see below) can agree additional fees and be billed direct by her.

Investment required

£1,200 plus vat for a 12-month contract

£1,900 for a two-year contract

Payable at the beginning of the contract period or split into two annual payments, one at the start of the contract.

The associated set-up cost for a Level 1 ad (45 seconds max) will be borne by The Courtyard as part of your contract OR you can supply your own ready-made ad to the spec required (see below).

Ad production costs

Once we’ve agreed an advertising package, your contact details will be passed onto our designer who will liaise with you in order to create your advert or give you the specifications required (if providing your own ready-made ad).

Level 1 advert

NB This cost is included in your contract - a simple, silent static (non-moving) advert in full colour. If not providing your own art work, you can supply the materials (see below) our designer will create an ad for you, with one set of amends allowed. NB Clients can agree further amends to their advert direct with the designer and will need to agree a separate costing for that with them. Max length: 45 seconds.

Higher spec ads

The client will need to agree this direct with Clare Harris() if a more complex advert is to be created eg with moving images, several pages or slides etc.

Materials required

If supplying your own finished art work, please supply in the following format:

1080p size (which is 1920 x 1080 pixels for static ads) and the title safe area is: 1536 x 864 pixels centred (essentially a bleed of 10% on each side). Acceptable file formats are: PNG, TIFF, PDF, JPEG and RGB not CMYK.

Videos need to be supplied:

  • QuickTime (.mov) files
  • Preferably 1920 x 1080 resolution resolution
  • Aspect Ratio - 16:9
  • Preferred codecs are Apple ProRess422 (HQ), H.264 or Mpeg
  • Title safe area is required in videos also - again a 10% bleed, most video editing programs will have title safe guidelines.

If you require ad production, please supply high resolution photos/images/logos as jpeg, psd, bmp or gif files and text in a Word document. If scanning, digitising or processing work is required on images supplied, Clare Harris will contact you direct and agree a charge for this.
