With the Chairman and Vice Chairman not present the League Secretary opened the meeting at 7-15 and introduced Jeff Russell who introduced himself and Billy Carter to the members. Jeff explained that the Workshop was a follow onto the League winning the FA Respect Gold Award and was designed to be an inter active presentation with members being involved. Jeff showed a video of some of the laws asking members questions along the way, this was followed by Billy showing some clips from games and asking members what decision they would have given. Following this the League Secretary thanked Jeff and Billy for their contribution tonight and he also thanked the members for taking part.

County Cups – Reminder to text result to League Secretary whether Home or Away before 4 p.m. You also need to advise your County F.A of the result and also update the Website with team details.
Match Sheets, just to advise that can you make sure that the team sheet numbers agree with the players on the pitch, if need be please amend the numbers on the Match Sheet. Please enter the shirt numbers for the substitutes listed, as for the website when entering substitutes you do not need to enter who they replaced, just tick the box to say the substitute has played.
Can you also make sure that you complete the basic details on the Match Sheet, ie Competition, Date, Home & Away Clubs as well as the Referee’s name, and then sign the form and indicate whose form it is (Home Club or Away Club) before handing over to referee and opponents?
There is an updated Good Conduct points table in your envelope tonight; you will notice that there are a few amendments to some of the lesser offences however the serious offences still carry a heavier penalty.
When adding new signings to the website following a match day signing can you make sure you take care and enter correctly, had one player entered twice last week-end because of a mistake in the spelling, if this happens then please don’t re-enter advise me accordingly and I will sort out if I can or ask the web manager if I cannot.
If you are having any problems with the website (as we did last weekend) then please advise me straight away, this includes if you make an error on your match return then please advise me as once you have submitted you cannot go back and make any changes.
North Riding County Football Association Handbooks, these are no longer supplied, Please note that no hard copies will be published for this season and the Handbook can only be accessed online, you need to check the North Riding County Football Association website for full details.
Also for North Riding County Football Association Teams you need to check the website as to County Cup ties in how to access the competition and submit results.
For Durham County Football Association Teams handbooks are available tonight, see me at the end of the meeting.
Date of the next League Meeting is the General Meeting on Wednesday 25September2013
Once again I will put these notes on the website so you can check out anything you have missed or to use as a reminder.
