Expressions of interest are invited from interested applicants to relieve in the role of Customer Services and Administration Manager commencing Monday 21 November 2016 until Friday 19May 2017. The position is based at Strathfield Office, 65 Albert Road, Strathfield.

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the administration, financial, resource and reporting systems of the Educational Services team to ensure the delivery of services to schools is high quality, responsive and timely. The role reports directly to and provides day-to-day support to the Director Educational Services.

Key accountabilities:

  • Identify, develop and implement quality systems for the delivery of educational services to schools and to support the work of the Educational Services team.
  • Provide administrative support and advice on the management of functions and systems to promote the effective operations of the Educational Services team.
  • Provide leadership in exemplary customer service to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely response.
  • Provide professional learning to build the capacity of the Educational Services team in administration and customer service.
  • Assist with the management of the motor vehicle fleet to ensure a well maintained, fully utilised fleet of vehicles to meet the transportation needs of the team.
  • Assist with the management and monitoring of the allocated budget and financial functions and provide budgetary advice and reports to the executive.
  • Advise office personnel on Departmental policies, procedures and protocols to assist in operational decision making.
  • Undertake project work relating to the collation and provision of information satisfying reporting requirements and provide accurate information for decision making.
