PRIVACY POLICY FOR DATA COLLECTION IN MOBILE APPLICATIONS
This privacy policy governs your use of software applications (“Applications”) for mobile devices that were created by Bell App Lab. All Applications from Bell App Lab that collect analytic data are governed by this Policy and by installing and using any of these Applications you agree to the terms herein. All Applications that make use of this Policy are properly marked as such and this information can be found inside each of these Applications.
Automatically Collected Information
Applications may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application, including, but also not limited to, the amount of time spent within the scope of any of the Applications, the usage-count for all features provided by the Applications, navigation information within the structure of any of the Applications and error messages created by the Applications.
Applications do not collect any Personal Data
As set forth by this Policy, the term “Personal Data” refers to Automatically Collected Information than can associate the usage of Applications to a specific person by listing names, addresses, telephone numbers, banking information and other sensitive data.
All Applications governed by this Policy refrain from collecting any Personal Data from users.
Applications do not collect GPS information
Applications governed by this app may collect location information. However, this information is only inferred from the data traffic that flows through the app and not by any kind of GPS technology. Therefore, location information collected by Applications are more imprecise. Location data is only used to create segmentation from all the data collected.
As Bell App Lab does not collect any Personal Data, this information will not be associated with you, even in cases where Applications may use GPS information for working as intended.
Third parties may have access to the data collected by Applications
Bell App Lab may share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Policy.
We may disclose Automatically Collected Information:
· as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
· when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
· with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Additionally, we may disclose Automatically Collected Information with our clients, who similarly do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
We also inform that Applications governed by this Policy currently make use of the analytics platform know as Flurry (“Service Provider”) and are subject to Flurry’s Policies as well; and
· if Bell App Lab is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
You have control over the collection of data
You can stop all collection of information from within each of the Applications. You may request to opt-out of the data collection program at any time by sending an email to . You may also stop all data collection by uninstalling the Applications . You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy
We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate.
Children
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Applications. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches. Additionally, security measures are subject to our Service Provider.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy at Bell App Lab’s website and informing you through the Applications. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
Your Consent
By using the Applications, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. “Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in our Service Provider’s country and in Brazil. If you reside outside any of these countries, your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under Service Provider’s country and Brazilian privacy standards.
