CONTINUING EDUCATION FUND FOR PASTORS
INDIANA YEARLY MEETING
GUIDELINES:
1. Up to $100 is available each calendar year for any Indiana Yearly Meeting pastor/pastoral staff to use for continuing education.
2. The Continuing Education Fund will pay up to half of the total cost of the conference (if the conference cost is $100 you could only have $50 for that conference and use $50 later). Hopefully the local church will pay the other half.
3. The Continuing Education Fund is not intended to be used for tuition at a college or seminary. The Lacy Scholarship & Loan Fund can be used for tuition.
4. The Continuing Education Fund may be used by Indiana Yearly Meeting to help purchase books for the pastor’s study groups or to underwrite the Friends Leadership Development Program
5. Persons wishing assistance should provide the information requested below. Please be specific with regard to the way the check should be made out.

1. The applicant should consider particular ways in which participation will strengthen his/her ministry either through improving one’s skills for ministry or through deepening personal spiritual and intellectual resources. Program or event for which you wish to receive assistance. Give a brief description of the program for which you are requesting assistance including its location, sponsorship, leadership and dates.
2. Official title of sponsoring body (How should the check be made out?) Indiana
Yearly Meeting reserves the right to deny funds for events sponsored by organizations not in harmony with Christian truth as held by Friends.
