The Council has made the above named Order under section 14(1) of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close the footpath from Tanera Court toWoodend Walk, Falkirkfrom07.30 hrs on 06/04/15until 17.00 hrs on17/04/15. The closure is to allow footpath improvement works to be carried out safely.
- Full details may be inspected at Abbotsford House, Davids Loan, Falkirk and One-Stop Shop, Callendar Sq, Falkirk, Mon-Fri between 9.30am – 4.30pm, from02/04/15until17/04/15 and
- This order temporarily closes thefootpath between Tanera Court to Woodend Walk, Falkirk for a distance of approximately 110 metres.
- The alternative routeis: Woodend Walk, Falkirk Road, East past the rear of the church, Tanera Court and vice versa

Falkirk Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14(1) and (4) as read with Section 2(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, being satisfied that the traffic on the lengths of Footpath specified in the Schedule to this Order should be restricted or prohibited as hereinafter provided because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the said lengths, hereby make the following Order:-
Citation, commencement and cessation
(1)This Order may be cited as "The Falkirk Council (Tanera Court to Woodend Walk, Falkirk) (Temporary Prohibition on Use of Footpath)(TTRO/686) Order 2015" and shall come into force from6/04/15until 17/04/15or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Interpretation
(2)The Interpretation Act 1978 shall apply for the interpretation of this Order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
Temporary Prohibition on Use of a Footpath
(3)No person shall use, the length of Footpathduring the period(s)specified in the schedule when a prohibition is identified as applying to a part or parts of that length of footpath by means of one or more of the traffic signs prescribed in Diagram 7010.1 and 7105 of the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.

Statement of Reasons for Making the Order
The temporary prohibitionof pedestrian trafficis necessary toenable building works to be carried out safely, but will only have effect in relation to such part or parts of the lengths of footpathas defined and during the periods stated in the Schedule to this notice and indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
