2014 TTC Council Budget Application and Reserve Fund Balance

Budget Allocation has been received from Council, as tabled at the meeting

Estimated Reserve Fund Balance has also been received, as discussed at the meeting

ACTION

Carol, Patsy and Eva to prepare a report re new banners, Christmas decorations etc to be funded from Council budget allocation, for discussion at the next meeting

The Future of Barossa Council Section 41Committees

The future of S41 committees has been put out to public consultation

Members reaffirmed they do not wish to establish an independent incorporated body

MOTION

A letter to be send to Tanunda traders and local media updating them on the future of Tanunda Town Committee and its related activities

A letter to be sent to Tanunda traders and local media updating them on the future of Tanunda Town Committee and its related activities, after the conclusion of the public consultation period

Convenor –2014 TanundaBarossa Christmas Parade

Jack U met with Martin McCarthy who advised that the event is conducted under the auspices of Council and as such he is the Responsible Officer

Wayne advised that he will convene the 2014 Paradesubject to:

-satisfactory discussion with Council and SAPOL re risk management and compliance

-provision of ongoing Council assistance re risk management and compliance issues

-theassistance of a stalls and entertainment co-ordinator

Bob B will act as stalls and entertainment co-ordinator

Patsy will act as media liaison and commentator

All other committee members will assist on the night

ACTION

A meeting to be convened between Council, SAPOL, Wayne, Bob B, Jack U and Patsy

Succession Planning

No further action until The Barossa Council decides the future of S41 Committees

Tour Down Under 2015

Bob S advised that the Barossa leg of the Tour will start in Tanunda on Tuesday 20 January

Next Meeting: Monday 8 September 2014 at 6pm at the Tanunda Clubhouse
