DISPENSER SETTINGS AND SYRINGE FILLING
SCOPE
This procedure covers the settings and filling of the syringe, to dispense the correct amount of RTV adhesive onto the centre of the VPT with a dot size of 5-6mm.

PROCEDURE
PRE-LOADING THE SYRINGE
1. The RTV Silicone adhesive has a limited shelf life, check expiry date on box before use.
2. Use the nozzle provided to load the syringe barrel, maximum fill is 2/3 – Carefully press the piston down until it contacts the fluid.
3. Fit the barrel tip cap to prevent loss of fluid – the RVT is a thick fluid and air will be trapped in the syringe barrel at this stage.
4. To remove the air the loaded syringe is to be spun in the centrifuge –
5. balanced the centrifuge by placing an empty syringe opposite the loaded syringe
6. The lid closed and the centrifuge switched on and slowly wound up to full speed.
DISPENCER SETTINGS
1. Test have been carried out to determine the required of adhesive to be dispensed when using the 10cc Barrel and Piston when fitted with the Grey Dispensing Tip.
