Description of Bulletin Revision:

The purpose of this revised Bulletin is to reinforce the instructions necessary to ensure that all Installation resources return the Pentair Central Office cabinet base castor dolly assemblies with all of the following mounting material required to return complete caster dolly assemblies:

·  All nuts

·  All bolts

·  All washers

*NOTE: Many castor dollies have been returned, butmost are missing the necessary mounting hardware components toattachthem toa cabinet. Unfortunately, this will require a manual assessment of each castor dolly assembly to obtain and add the missing material. Return of castor dolly assemblies complete with mounting hardware is critical to the successful implementation of the castor dolly reuse project.

All new 3’ and 4’ deep Pentair cabinets come equipped from the manufacturer with a castor dolly attached to the front and rear of the cabinet base in order to easily maneuver the cabinet into the proper position prior to anchoring. Empty castor dolly return boxes will be provided with each new Pentair Central Office cabinet. After removal of the castor dollies from the cabinet, the Installer will place both front and rear castor dolly in the return box provided. As of 7/1/09, Installers are required to use the return boxes to return all Pentair cabinet castor dolly assemblies. Under no circumstances will castor dollies be discarded.

Castor Dolly Return Box and Return Label

Pictured below is the labeling provided on the castor dolly return boxes. In the lower left corner of the photo, the UPS shipping return label is visible. The UPS return label is already attached to the box so it will be easier for the Installer to ship the castor dollies back to Graybar Electric in Denver, Colorado. No additional labeling is necessary.

There are only two Qwest approved methods to ship back the detached Pentair cabinet castor dolly packages. Installers must utilize either UPS or Graybar Electric. UPS can be contacted directly to come to the site and pick up the castor dolly package or the packages can be dropped off at the nearest UPS shipping facility. As an alternative, Installers in the Denver, Colorado metro area may elect to drop off the castor dolly assembly packages directly to a Graybar Electric facility. No other drop off locations are authorized or approved.
