FileOpen Help Issues

Q: I can open the files but can’t see anything.

A: You have either not installed the FileOpen Plug-in or have not logged in to the RSS since installing the plug-in. On some computers where users have restricted administrative rights, you may have to get your Information Technology people to complete the installation. In our initial testing, only 5% of the users didn’t have required privileges to install the plug-in.

Q: I can’t seem to install the plug-in. There is an error message that says “installation was not successful.”

A: Your computer may require someone with administrative privileges to install the plug-in. Please call your computer support personnel to install the plug-in.
