AMBASSADORS

There will be a meeting for all Ambassadors today, Tuesday, May 16th in the Information Center after 8th period. This meeting will review elections for next year's Ambassador Officers.

Annual Spring Concert and Student Art Exhibition

Come enjoy an evening of the Arts!! The Annual Spring Concert and Student Art Exhibition is tonight, Tuesday, May 16th. The art show begins at6 p.m.in the cafeteria, followed by the concert in the gym at7:15. See and hear the work of your talented classmates, and show your support. Admission is free!

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS

A reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, May 17th, is Spirit Day. We will be on a SPECIAL SCHEDULE with homeroom beginning at8AM. Following homeroom and 2 assemblies, we will make our way to River Field for games and activities. The day should be completed by 1 or1:30.

This will count as a school day. Attendance of all students is expected like any school day. Students are permitted to wear shorts and sneakers together with either your PURPLE Roman golf shirt or a purple or gold t-shirt. Please do not bring any textbooks, iPads, etc. to school that day. You are personally responsible for your cell phones.

As usual, Aramark will offer breakfast items for students to purchase prior to homeroom.

Students will be given a soft pretzel and water ice as part of this day. You are also invited and permitted to bring snacks with you that day as part of your lunch.

NHS

There will be a mandatory meeting for all Junior members of NHS today, Tuesday, May 16th in Room 39. All must attend.

RIVER FIELD CLEAN UP

A River Field Clean Up has been scheduled for Saturday, May 20th from 9AM-2PM. Students will receive 8 hours of community service. Permission slips are available in the Student Affairs Office. Check out the flyers hanging around school for more information.

SADD

SADD will hold a general membership meeting on Thursday, May 18th after school in Room 38. Elections for next year’s officers will be discussed. It’s never too late to join SADD. Come to this meeting and see the thing you can be involved in for school next year!

SCHOOL MINISTRY

Mass will be offered during 5th period today.

SENIOR DRESS DOWN DAY

There will be a Senior Dress Down Day on Thursday, May 18th. Seniors who participate must wear something from the College/University or Military Service Academy that you are attending.No hats, No shorts, No flip flops, No earrings, No objectionable or inappropriate language or material.

SENIOR PROM

A reminder that the Senior Prom is scheduled for Friday, May 19that the Hyatt at the Bellevue.Seniors who are attending and have purchased a ticket are reminded to adhere to all guidelines and policies found in the Senior Prom Information Sheet as well as those discussed and presented at the Senior Parent/Student Night.

We will follow a Bell 1 schedule onFriday, May 19th. At the end of 5th period, classes will end for the day for Seniors. Seniors attending the prom are required to attend an assembly in the gym after 5thperiod. Those not attending the prom are dismissed after 5th period. Students who are absent from school on Friday May 19thor who do not attend the required meeting after the end of 5thperiod will not be permitted to attend the Senior prom.

If you have purchased your prom tickets, please see Mrs. Kraunelis for table seating in Room 41 after school or contact her . Once your seating has been assigned, it is not to be changed. Anyone going to the prom who needs a vegetarian dinner for yourself or your date, or if there are any other dietary needs, please see Ms. Kraunelistoday.

SPRING SPORTS AWARDS ASSEMBLY/RECEPTION

Our Spring Sports Awards Assembly/Reception will take place at RCHS onWednesday, May 31st. Admission is $10 per person. The Awards Assembly will begin in the gym at6:30 PMand will honor Freshmen, JV, and Varsity teams from our Spring Sports. MVP, Coaches Awards, and All Catholic honors will also be presented. The Awards Assembly will be followed by a reception. Tickets are presently on sale in the Financial Affairs Office and need to be purchased no later than the end of the school day onWednesday, May 24th. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR. Student dress code for this event is the Spring uniform.
