JOB SUMMARY

Manage customer service requirements for an aviation services operation which includes fixed base operations including serving fixed base, transient and flight school customers. This includes greeting clients and customers, fielding telephone calls, coordinating customer service relations with charter and flight school operations, billing services and management of front desk customer service staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Fixed base operations
  • Greet pilots and potential new customers at front desk
  • Handle incoming phone calls and route
  • Check-in and invoice customers
  • Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Handle and coordinate all customer requests in a timely manner
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Manage, train, schedule 4-5 front desk employees
  • Assist with transient customer requests
  • Flight School
  • Schedule flights with customers and instructors via phone and/or online computer scheduling
  • Maintain and update student pilot record files
  • Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services
  • Present to potential students training materials, specials and offers to choose Air Associates as their flight school
  • Performs other customer service and flight school duties as required and assigned
  • Attend all required flight school and manager meetings
  • Maintain flight school scheduling needs
  • Assist with Flight School operations

REQUIREMENTS

  • Aviation background or a genuine interest in being involved in aviation
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States
  • Must pass contingency of hire: drug test

  • Ability to communicate policy/method changes with all front desk office personnel
  • Knowledge of basic computer operations and programs
  • Ability to quickly learn and master responsibilities
  • Must have good written and pleasant oral communication skills

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS

  • No specific aviation experience required; will train all aspects of position if you have the necessary qualifications forexceptional customer service and practicality
  • School operates from 7am-8pm Monday-Sunday
  • Travel may be expected for this position
