  5. 116 Active Paid Members
  6. 42 Inactive- will start calling on Friday June 21st.
  7. To be Shape certified we need to have 121 active paid members.
  8. We are in jeopardy of losing our 100% SHRM Chapter, we are currently at 89% and need to be a 93%.
  9. Communications
  10. Advertising strategies for the EEOC event- Flyer sent to Jayne Pfeifer to promote with VMA.
  11. Lisa and Riff will be getting advertising out to the different Chambers in the area.
  12. Frank Mercer emailed it to nearly 2000 people, advertised in Facebook and all Social Media.
  13. We will advertise through our Facebook account
  14. HR Community Calendar and all sister chapters.
  15. Asking News Journal to see advertising options that are offered.
  16. Marketing
  17. Sponsorship Update
  18. MacData - $500 sponsorship
  19. We need to get at least 60 people signed up for EEOC event and we will be in good shape.
  20. Sell PHR/ SPHR Preparation Learning System for $350 each instead of $900
  21. All Board members should let Claire know of any company interested in becoming a new sponsor; Vendor spotlight pays $500 and sponsor $150
  22. Social event after hours current budget is $600 and a small fee will be charged for food and drinks.
  23. Financials
  24. The total balance of both accounts is $15,408.57-
  25. Checking account ending balance is $8376.94
  26. We were billed for the DNO insurance $810
  1. Hospitality
  2. Promoting the "Love your Neighbor Food Drive" organized by Halifax Urban Ministries.
  3. New Badges will only contain names, no company names and will still mention if they are board members or not.
  4. Social event discussed above to be planned with help from hospitality
  5. Community Relations
  6. Lynda will communicate with United Way
  7. Foundations
  8. we need new ideas to raise more money
  9. Organize an HR trivia kind of event
  10. 50/50 is getting old and lacking participation

  2. All to wear shirts to EECO event
  3. Create name tags for EEOC event (Lisa)
  4. try to make listings for signup sheet for EEOC event to differentiate between paid vs. non paid members (Ruth)
  5. Create generic brochure for our chapter to hand out at EEOC event- we are asking Andrea for past template
  6. Include inserts with upcoming events and seminars in order to promote more participation and interest.
  7. Monthly Items to go into State SHRM Newsletter
  8. Christy sent email requesting articles by June 26th.
  9. 25 % of our Local Chapter members will be in HR Florida try to sell them shirts so we can all use one day
  10. Plan a dinner out with all chapter members for that Monday August 19,2013 will ask Connie to reach out and organize it.
