→ We are having the State Department of Education SPED audit on Friday January 9. I will have information for you at the board meeting.

→ Student placement at NW BOCES has taken place and went smoothly.

→ Principals search is going well. We have already had six inquiries.

→ WDE conducted their annual Consolidated Grant Desk Monitoring which concluded in December. We were only 1 of 8 out of 16 Districts not chosen for a required on-site monitoring visit. However, there may be some follow up questions and documents that may be requested from each of the Districts.

Fusion will house the WISE Info center, Assessment Info Center (coming soon), the Grant Management System, the Wyoming Transcript Center, the SRM for WISE collections, the new WISER ID system, the new WISE Staff ID system, several non WISE collections, data reporting back to the districts, as well as numerous other items.

Principal’s Report January 12, 2009

→ This Friday (1/9) staff will be taking a practice MAP test on Language Arts. This will be to familiarize the staff with the language art test procedures that will be given on January 28 & 29. We will test the elementary kids one day and the middle school and high school kids the next. We are only going to give the Language Arts portion during our first testing window to ensure that we have everything in place in order to give a full battery of tests in the Spring.
