Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1 / With LMT in place, should I continue to enter leave in MyTE? I have marked days as leave in My
TE, will this get updated in LMT automatically?
Answer / Though LMT is in place, all employees should continue to mark days as leave (Vacation or Illness) in MyTE. Leave data entered in MyTE will not get updated in LMT. Also, leave data entered in LMT will not get updated in MyTE. Leave data in LMT will be compared with leave data in MyTE on a fortnightly basis and employees will be asked to resolve discrepancies (if any) in the leave data.
Question 2 / Will LMT show my leave balance?
Answer / LMT will not show the leave balances. LMT will show the “Total Leaves Availed” (Vacation & Sick Leave) and “Total Floating Holidays Availed” through LMT (and not MyTE) on the “My Leave Requests” screen of LMT.
Question 3 / Who can approve leave request raised by me in LMT? Where do I update my approvers?
Answer / Your AST Supervisor and all MyTE Reviewers are considered as “Approvers” in LMT and are eligible to approve your leave request. A leave request is considered approved / rejected if any of the approvers acts on the request. You can view your approvers using the “Leave Approvers” link on the “Apply for Leave” page.
You can update your approvers in AST and MyTE.
Note: If an employee an Accenture Leadership raises a leave request, then no emails are triggered to the approvers (AST Supervisor or MyTE Reviewer) of the employee.
Question 4 / If no approver takes action, then what will happen to my leave request?
Answer / If no approver takes action within 2 working days from the date of raising leave request, then LMT will auto-approve the leave request. After the auto-approval by LMT, an approver cannot take any further action (approval/rejection) on the leave request.
Question 5 / If one approver approves the leave request, can the other approver reject the leave request?
Answer / No. The FIRST action (approval/rejection) taken by any approver is considered final. Any other approver cannot take any further action (approval/rejection) on the leave request.
Question 6 / How will I know that the leave is auto-approved by LMT? Can I cancel an auto-approved leave request?
Answer / LMT will send emails to the employee and all approvers stating that the request has been auto-approved. An auto-approved leave request can be cancelled.

Answer / LMT will interface with SAP to get leave data (vacation and sick leave) on a fortnightly basis. The timesheets are submitted in MyTE on fortnightly basis. LMT interfaces with SAP to get the leave data after the timesheets (submitted through MyTE) are processed in SAP. LMT then compares the leave data obtained from SAP with the leave data present in LMT.
Question 25 / What kinds of discrepancies will be highlighted in LMT?
Answer / Only leave data (Vacation & Illness) discrepancies will be highlighted in LMT. Discrepancies in holidays (fixed, floating, adhoc), LoA, Other Approved Absence and Compensatory Off are not highlighted in LMT.

Question 26 / Will the leave data from SAP be overridden in LMT or vice versa?
Answer / No. The leave data from SAP will NOT be overridden in LMT OR the leave data in LMT will NOT be overridden in SAP. LMT just highlights the data discrepancies. The employee has to take corrective actions to resolve the discrepancies.
Question 27 / How will the employee be notified on the presence of leave data discrepancies? What will be the content of the email?
Answer /
  1. An email, indicating presence of leave data discrepancies, will be sent to the employee on the day the “data discrepancy” batch runs
  2. Additionally, a reminder email will be sent after 7 days from the day of running the “data discrepancy” batch.
  3. The employee can log on to LMT and check the data discrepancies (if any) on the “Employee – View Data Discrepancies” screen.
Note: Emails would be sent to ACTIVE employees below Accenture Leadership career level only.
Content of the email:
The email will contain the list of fortnights that have leave data discrepancies. The email will not contain the exact dates of leave data discrepancies. To view the dates, employees have to logon to LMT.

The total availed leave (Vacation and Illness) hours would be calculated basis the leaves applied and approved in LMT in the current financial year. The leaves marked in MyTE would NOT be considered for calculating the total availed leave hours. For FY15, since LMT went live on 1stMarch 2015, the total leave availed hours would be calculated basis the leave applied and approved in LMT from 1st March 2015 onwards.
The total availed floating holidays(public / optional holiday) would be calculated in days basis the floating holidays applied and approved in LMT in the current calendar year (January to December). The holidays marked in MyTE would NOT be considered for calculating the total availed holidays.

Answer / No. Since the direct report is NOT an IDC employee, he/she does not have access to LMT and the leave data is NOT present in LMT. So you will not be able to view his/her information on LMT.
Question 36 / I am incorrectly identified as approver and so I am getting emails to approve leave requests. What should I do?
Answer / If you have been incorrectly identified as the approver for an employee, please contact the employee immediately and ask them to make necessary changes in AST/MyTE. If you continue to be incorrectly identified as an approver, please highlight this non-compliance to your local HR team.
