Stay alert, keep your mind on your surroundings and be aware of what is happening around you at all time.
Communicate confidence and calmness, stand tall and walk with a purpose
Trust your instincts; remember your body gives you signs when it does not feel safe. Plan the safest route to your destination and use it
Try to use busy well lit streets and avoid shortcuts through isolated areas .Know your neighbourhood and where you can get help if you need it
When carrying your purse, handbag or other hand luggage, hold it close to your body and keep a firm grip on it. Don't display your property.
Consider using a small wallet or change purse to carry your money on your person, or in your
