Illness Policy

If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms/situations, he/she will not be able to attend lessons. This helps to keep contagious illnesses from spreading to other children or the instructor. It, also, allows time for your child’s body to heal itself while fighting off bacteria and/or viruses. I included the time to return to lessons, if known. Some conditions will vary depending on student, incubation period, longevity/severity of illness. In most of these cases the ISR Medial Team will make the determination of when the student can return to lessons. Some conditions will require you to submit an Missed/Medical Lesson Update (MLU) form through ISR. This can be found using the original registration link you used when you signed up for lessons. If you can no longer find that link, you can go to swimjax.com > contact me > scroll way down to the bottom of the page and click on “It’s not just about swimming…It’s about surviving!!” Please make sure your instructor is informed of your child’s medical status.
