RULES:a)Riders must agree to abide by the following rules. Any rider not conforming will be liable to disqualification.
b)No responsibility is taken by the CTC, the Herts DA, the
organizer or any marshal for any injury or damage.
c)All bicycles must be in a roadworthy condition and have
mudguards, preferably with a rear mudflap.
d) Please ride carefully and show consideration to other road
users. The Highway Code must be observed at all times.
e)Any rider finishing more than 30 minutes inside the time
w ill be disqualified.

At the Dog Kennel Lane Car Park next to the Asda Car Park in Hatfield adjacent to the B6426. Grid Ref: TL226 086
Turn left onto the B6426 and forward to railway bridge traffic lights. Continue straight ahead on the A1000 towards Welwyn Garden City as far as the A414 flyover (traffic lights) where turn left onto the A414 towards HERTFORD
At the first RAB take 2nd exit (signposted B1455) and follow to TJ. Turn left onto B158. As you enter HERTFORD bear right at mini-RAB (SP
B158), uphill and down to reach large RAB on A414 at:
HERTFORD 8.0
Take 2nd exit and follow ’B158 BENGEO’ signs through town, up Port Hill and through BENGEO, to the mini-RAB where turn left onto unclassified road (SP SACOMBE). Forward for 3 miles to TJ (A602).
Turn left and after 0.4 mile, right CARE!! (SP SACOMBE). Follow unclassified road through DANE END and after the ‘GREAT MUNDEN’ sign, take the 2nd turning right (SP PUCKERIDGE). After about 2miles turn left onto A10 CARE!! And follow to RAB just north of:
PUCKERIDGE 18.8
Take 2nd exit (B1368) and continue to BRAUGHING. Turn right at the War Memorial (SP BRAUGHING) and follow for 3 miles to the ‘FURNEAUX PELHAM’ sign where turn left to TJ at;
FURNEAUX PELHAM (near Church)- CHECK POINT 23.5
Turn left and follow through LITTLE HORMEAD to TJ. Turn left and forward 0.5mile to TJ at B1368. Turn right into HARE STREET where turn left onto B1038 and forward to TJ at;
BUNTINGFORD 28.7
Turn right and follow signs for the A507 to COTTERED. In COTTERED turn left at B1037 and follow to WALKERN (observe signs). Continue straight ahead, south on unclassified road to mini-RAB at;
WATTON AT STONE 39.5
Turn left at mini RAB and after 0.25mile turn right at mini RAB. Forward through DATCHWORTH GREEN to WOOLMER GREEN. At TJ turn left along B197 to the ‘Clock’ RAB (immediately after motorway bridge). Take 1st exit (SP WELWYN GARDEN CITY A1000) and at the next 3 RABs follow the signs’ STANBOROUGH B197’. Pass under the motorway bridge to RAB where take 2nd exit (SP LEMSFORD).
Follow to the TJ with the B653 (Lemsford Church). Turn right CARE!! and immediately left (SP HATFIELD).Straight on at all RABS to Hatfield Garden Village shops where turn left at mini-RAB to meet large RAB on A1001.
Take 3rd exit (SP HATFIELD TOWN CENTRE) then immediately turn right intoLemsford Road. Forward to RAB at the B6426 where turn left and then turn left to FINISH AT THE CAR PARK 50.0
