Heritage Glen Homeowners Association Meeting

I. Call to Order

The meeting of the Heritage Glen Homeowners Association was called to order at 7:15 p.m. on December 3rd by President Patricia Anderson. Board members present and introduced were Marcus Carlock, Lawrence Brown, Sharon Crawford, Eric Pickens, Woody Knight, and Mr. Horton/TCMG.

President Patricia Anderson introduced the guest speaker Lt. Franklin and Charlie Brown from District 2 Committee.

Home Break-Ins

Several homeowners have express concerns about the recent break-ins in our community. Per our by-laws we are not allow to place bars on the outside of our homes. Another way to help secure our property is placing security doors that can be installed inside for Sliders and French Doors. Patricia Anderson presented illustration of security door. Neighborhood Watch Program/Block Captains

We are still identifying the block captains for our community. The block captains will be responsible for gathering information from each homeowner such as e-mail address and contact numbers. If someone in the neighborhood sees something that does not look right call the police department.

2010 Goals and Objectives

No increase in HOA Dues for 2010. Payment booklets mailed out. If you have not received booklet, please contact Rae-Chelle Baskerville @ 240-568-8920.

ACC Applications

All applications must be submitted with a $25.00 payment. All drawing and permits should accomplish application. Applicant must be current with HOA dues.

Vacant Homes

Please call TCMG in reference to vacant homes.

District 2

Charlie Brown – District 2 reviewed the Crimestat Report for our community. Heritage Glen is under CSA22 E3. Safety seminars will be held in February and March 2010. The seminars will cover how to prevent break-ins and what to look out for.

Suggestion was made to engraves, take pictures, and write down the information on items in the household.
