The cost for Baltimore Tennis Patrons Leagues is as follows:

Registration fees for BTP Leagues breakdown as follows:

  • Mid-Atlantic Section (MAS) Section fee: $26.00
  • Local League Fee:$15.00
  • Indoor Court Fee: billing captain for Court costs
  • Other fee: cost of balls paid by captain
  • Tennis Link Transaction fee (active.com):$3.58

League Schedule

Match schedule will vary with each league – but will be played on weeknights and weekends only. Play will take place at local area courts both indoor and outdoor depending on season. Schedules can be found on Tennis Link prior to each season’s start.

SECTIONALS TRI-LEVEL – JANUARY 18-21, 2019

Notes-

  • Mid-Atlantic Section (MAS) is now centralized and referred to as the Maryland Region. All Maryland District Championships are now called Maryland Regional Championships.
  • All local league winners will advance directly to Maryland Regional Championships for all AgeGroups. No playoff with other local league winners will be required.
  • A team cannot advance if that advancement occurs solely as the result of receiving a full team default from an opponent. Refer to MAS Rule 8b.
  • -Captains must have a minimum of six (3court leagues) or eight (5 court leagues) players into TennisLink one week before league begins.
  • -The full match schedule for any local league must be published in TennisLink prior to or within seven days following the first match.
  • -Match results must be reported on TennisLink within 48 hours of the completion of the team match by either captain or their designee.
  • -For Combo leagues, a 1.5 rating differential is now allowed.

GRIEVANCE COMMITTEES:

BTP has opted in to use the MAS Central Grievance and Grievance Appeal Committee to hear local league grievances. All Local League Grievances will be sent to the MAS Central Grievance Committee. Grievances must filed using the local league grievance form.
