THE PENINSULA HOTELS IS VOTED ‘BEST HOTELS FOR BUSINESS’ AND
‘BEST HOTELS ROOM DESIGN & AMENITIES’ AT THE
2015 BEST IN BUSINESS TRAVEL AWARDS
Four Peninsula destinations, Hong Kong, Paris, New York and Chicago, are voted among the world’s best cities for doing business and for extending a business trip.
The Peninsula Hotels continues to garner prestigious international hospitality awards by being voted the ‘Best Hotels for Business’ and the ‘Best Hotels Room Design & Amenities’ at the 2015 Best in Business Travel Awards, which are jointly organised by Travel + Leisure and Fortune. The Peninsula Hotels placed third in the ‘Best Hotels for Customer Service’ category.
Global business travellers also commended four Peninsula destinations. Hong Kong rated fifth on the Best International City for Business list, and Paris was voted second in the Best International Cities for Extending a Business Trip category. New York and Chicago were voted in first and second place on the Best U.S. Cities for Business survey, and New York placed second on the Best U.S. Cities for Extending a Business Trip list.
These coveted awards are voted for by the readers of Travel + Leisure and Fortune magazines, who have recognised The Peninsula’s unique blend of timeless and contemporary design styles and customised technologies and in-room amenities that elevate the business travel experience to a previously undefined level of personalised luxury. Guest rooms feature interactive digital tablets preset to one of 11 languages that enable full touch control of all in-room functions, including lighting, room temperature, TV channels and access to restaurant menus and hotel services. New service initiatives being introduced include 24-hour check-in, which guarantees guests the comfort of being able to check-in at any time on their arrival day.

In 2015, The Peninsula Hotels also introduced PenCities Guides by LUXE, in partnership with stylish travel guide publisher LUXE City Guides. The bilingual compendium guides in English and Simplified Chinese feature the latest, most fashionable experiences for discerning travellers in each of the ten Peninsula destinations.
Success at the 2015 Best of Business Travel Awards follows The Peninsula Hotels sweeping the top four positions at Travel + Leisure’s 2015 Best Asia City Hotels Awards, including The Peninsula Shanghai being voted the Best Asia City Hotel, while The Peninsula Bangkok claimed the Top Hotel Spa in Asia title. The Peninsula also counted six hotels in Travel + Leisure’s 2015 Top 100 Best Hotels Worldwide.

About the Best in Business Travel Awards
The 2015 Best in Business Travel Awards feature the results of a questionnaire of the readers of Travel + Leisure and Fortune magazines. Business travellers were asked to name their top cities, and reveal their favourite hotels and airlines. Respondents rated hotel brands on five key characteristics: Customer Service, Room Design and Amenities (including in-room technology), Business/Meeting Facilities, Value, and Loyalty Programmes. A five-point scale, Excellent, Above Average, Average, Below Average and Poor, was applied for each characteristic. The component ratings were then averaged to create an overall score.
