APA California has purchased APA CD-ROM training products for use by California Chapter members, either for individual or group study. The primary purpose of this lending program is to offer a low-cost option for AICP members to qualify for related Certification Maintenance (CM) Program credits, but these CDs can be borrowed by any Chapter member. CDs will be loaned on a first-come first-served basis for a $10 loan fee per CD (includes shipping and handling). PLEASE NOTE: This program will be discontinued in 2014 and you must log your CD Distance Education CM credits by December 31, 2014.

Follow these steps to claim your CM credits. Be sure to complete the online sign-in and evaluation (

  • Login to the National APA site ( by entering your APA membership ID# and go to:
  • Click the Add Credits button from the CM Calendar button.
  • Click the Distance Education button in the Browse box and type in the title of the CD in the Search box.
  • Scroll down and click the title of the CD with that shows the correct reporting period (currently ‘Spring 2014’ through’ Winter 2014’ - #e code is noted for each CD title on the list above) and complete the review then confirm you have viewed this CD.
