CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to the Varsity Lady Raider Lacrosse team on their continued success in the State playoffs. They defeated Peachtree Ridge on Saturday to achieve back-to-back trips to the Final Four round. The final game to reach the State Championship will be played at home on Wednesday at 6:30 PM versus Roswell. We need a big crowd to add spirit and cheer the girls to victory!
Congratulations to the boys tennis team for winning the state championship on Fri. This is the second state championship in 3 years. The team members are: Justin Chui, Nathan Corbin, William Gu, Doug Hooper, Sam Jang-Milsten, Richard Kops, Richard Papantonis, Anish Sharma, Keenan Witsken, Quinn Witsken, Kenneth Yang and Daniel Zheng.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Students: Please stop by the table outside the clinic and look for any items you may have misplaced this semester. Any items not claimed will be donated to charity.
Please remember to pick up any medication from the clinic by Friday May 18, 2012. Any medication left in the clinic by the end of school day will be disposed of. Also, remember that a new Medication Authorization form and /or Health Care Plan for your child will need to be completed by you and your physician every school year.

Students: Please do not visit your old middle or elementary schools on our final half days… it causes disruption at those schools.
ATTENTION RISING SENIORS APPLYING TO GEORGIA TECH COLLEGE CALCULUS FOR NEXT YEAR:
PLEASE GO SEE MRS. LEWIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IN COUNSELING SUITE 1310 REGARDING NEW INFORMATION WE JUST RECEIVED FROM GEORGIA TECH FOR ALL APPLICANTS.
AGAIN, THIS IS ONLY FOR RISING SENIORS APPLYING TO GEORGIA TECH COLLEGE CALCULUS FOR NEXT YEAR.
Students withdrawing at the end of the semester should notify Mrs. Edmiston in Counseling Suite 1320 as soon as possible. At that time she will explain the steps in the withdrawal procedure. She will prepare a packet of information necessary for enrollment at the new school. This packet will be given to the student after his/her last final exam.

Students, there are new enrichment opportunities and scholarships which can be found in the College and Career Cove. Check by often to look through the crates as new offerings are added every week.

SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS
Students taking AP World next year need to pick up the summer assignment posted on the door of Coach Floyd’s classroom 3217.
AP Psychology summer reading assignment is posted outside Classrooms 3210 and 3324.
Any student taking AP Statistics next year should check either Mrs. Hetherington’s website or Mrs. Davis’ website for the summer assignment. Both sites are linked through the school website.

THE FINAL SENIOR EVENT WILL BE THE SENIOR CELEBRATION THURSDAY, MAY 17th 12:30-2:30…DETAILS TO FOLLOW: BUT LET'S JUST SAY WE WILL HAVE A DUNK TANK.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO FOLLOW... ON MONDAY BE SURE TO GET YOUR WRISTBAND AND RAFFLE TICKETS IN THE CAFETERIA DURING LUNCH FOR THIS EVENT.
Attention Seniors: Honor and Service cords are in!!! You may purchase them from Ms. Greene in RM 1220. Each cord is $10.
Raider Ambassadors, you may purchase your cord from Coach Page in RM 1320. This cord is $10 as well!
There are a few yard signs left for sale. Please stop by the front office to pick them up. $20 each. If you already ordered a sign, but haven't picked it up, it is now in the front office.
Attention seniors: if you did not pick up your gap and gown yet, you can pick them up in the front office. Also please take your gown out of the package and hang it up. This will take the wrinkles out if it. Do not iron it!!!

Final Transcript Request Forms will be available outside Suite 1310 on Monday May 7th.Please fill out the form and have the Media Center complete their portion on the bottom.All forms are due back to Mrs. Lewis in Suite 1310 by Monday, May 14th. Remember – you must turn in this form in order to be able to participate in graduation practice.
Senior Baccalaureate Celebration, a Night of Reflection will be held on Thursday night, May 17, 2012, 7:30 pm at the Johns Creek Baptist Church on McGinnis Ferry Road. Seniors, their family and friends along with teachers and staff are invited. The event is free. The dress code for graduating seniors is; graduation gown (no cap or cords) girls-dresses, guys-dress pants & button down shirts for pictures after. This is a graduation celebration featuring senior speakers and musicians. It is a time of reflection and inspiration to celebrate this new chapter in your lives.
Seniors if you have participated in Spanish National Honor Society this year and want a Service Cord please see Senora Gottlieb in room 4218 ASAP!!!!
Graduating Seniors, please pick up a “Countdown to Graduation” flyer outside the counseling suites. These flyers are double sided with important information all graduating seniors need to know.
