Near Monino there is the now well known MARZ ROSTO An-2 and Mi-2 overhaul which became known as Chernoye. This name is not correct as the name of place actialy should be Chornoye, meaning 'black' in Russian. However, this name also is not correct as Chornoye is the name of the nearest train station to the rework plant and the place itself is called Fedurnovo. This was again confirmed by a new certificate the factory received as a repair organisation and which was issued by MAK (the Interstate Aviation Committee of the CIS) in June or July. This official certificate named the location again as Fedurnovo.

Ukraine register cancellations
Although August 13th 2008 was not a Friday, it turned out to be a black day for Ukrainian aviation. Almost four hundred of Soviet-built aircraft, as listed below, were cancelled from the Ukraine civil aircraft register on this mentioned day according to point 4.1 and 4.11 of the "Regulations for the registration of civil aircraft in the Ukraine", so, more EU victims as such ?.
All aircraft for which no CofA has been requested for within the past 24 months were cancelled. The owners of the cancelled aircraft are required to remove the registration from the aircraft and as such spotting in Ukraine will not become easier.
Many aircraft in the listing below are known to have been exported, sometimes years ago, and have as such now as well finally been cancelled from the Ukraine register.
