About the Job:

The PCW functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team under the direction of the RN/LPN to provide direct personal care to residents. You can expect assistance in your role from a supportive team of well trained staff who will seem like family. Successful applicants will be paid in accordance with the current collective agreement between Saint Vincent’s Nursing Home and CUPE.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of first clinical rotation
  • Compassionate and caring
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with a good work ethic and positive attitude
  • Flexible and reliable with regular work attendance
  • Up to date CPR and First Aid certification
  • Knowledge of dementia care would be an asset
  • Clean criminal record and vulnerable sector record
