Founder’s Day Luncheon

There were 20 members in attendance. Co-President, Kirsten Brames, read a letter from Grand Council about the Friendship Fund. The Friendship Fund is a collection we take up and it is about sisters reaching out to sisters in need.

Treasurer, Susan Nielsen, will collect 2012 membership dues of $20, unless you are a lifeloyal member and then we voted to make those dues $5. We send $15 of each member’s dues to the national organization. Susan also explained the foundation collection. Last year our chapter made a donation of $100 to the Foundation. If you were not at the meeting and would still like to be an active alumnae member this year, you can mail your dues by February 13th and any extra donations for the Friendship Fund and Foundation to:

Ali Demorotski agreed to be our CASA liaison this year. Kirsten asked for a volunteer to be in charge of membership. She said the job is not hard, but you do need to be able to make a spreadsheet. Contact Kirsten at , if you can help out. Kirsten explained that we are only required to have three meetings, but that the group would like to do more. On the back of the agenda notes was a calendar of events for 2012. The next event is a lunch at Marketplace in Springdale on Thursday, March 8th.
