SENIOR NEWSLETTER

(DECEMBER)

Seniors, can you believe that you are exactly half way through your senior year?Time is flying here at Ashville High School, and I just want to ensure that each of you are carefully preparing for that next step in your life. As the first half of your senior year comes to a close, I want each of you to think about these specific items: 1.) Have I had any failing grades during the 1st /2nd nine weeks of school? If so, I need to meet with Mrs. Cranford to make sure that I am still on track for graduation. 2.) Do I know the admissions application/scholarship/fafsa financial aid deadline for my college of choice? If not, I better start researching them in the near future because they are quickly approaching if they have not already occurred at this time. 3.) Have I frequently been reviewing Mrs. Cranford’s scholarship book to ensure that I do not miss out on any scholarship opportunities that may be available to me? If not, now is the time!! In conclusion, I hope each of you have a wonderful and relaxing holiday break and mentally prepare for the upcoming Spring Semester.

Sincerely,

Candice Cranford

Ashville High School Counselor
