  1. Position Purpose

»Facilitate customer ticket requests made via phone, website or in person at the Bunjil Place Ticketing Services Office.

»Promote programs, services and ticket sales, and respond to all visitor enquiries to ensure a unique customer experience that is welcoming, effortless, and memorable.

»A key point of contact for all venue and event related visitor and customer enquiries.

  1. Key Responsibility Areas

»Maintain current and accurate knowledge of all Bunjil Place venues, services and facilities ensuring all enquiries are responded to professionally and/or directed appropriately.

»Maintain accuracy and consistency of customer data in accordance with City of Casey Policy and Procedures.

»As a key user of the City of Casey’s ticketing system, maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the system to facilitate a professional ticket sales experience for box office, phone and internet sales.

»Liaise with relevant stakeholders as required to enable an efficient and effective customer experience for Bunjil Place visitors and customers.

»Provide timely and relevant feedback to the Senior CRM and Ticketing Services Officer in relation to customer concerns, ticketing system issues, incorrect ticketing builds or other ticketing operations concerns.

»Oversee cloaking services and lost property management, following operating procedures for registering and distribution of uncollected and lost items.

»Accurate daily box office reconciliation and sales reporting.

»Opening the venue when required (e.g. on weekends) adhering to venue opening procedures.

»Promote and encourage a collaborative and supportive team environment.

»Supervise casual Ticketing Services staff, ensuring information is effectively communicated to them and policies and procedures are followed

»Ensure project objectives are met by anticipating and managing potential and emerging issues.

»Influence events, promote ideas and keep abreast of new ideas, thinking and products.

Effect of decisions and actions taken on individual clients may be significant but the decisions and actions are always subject to appeal or review by more senior employees.

  1. Qualifications and Experience

»Completion of secondary education plus:

  • a degree or diploma with little relevant work experience; or
  • lesser qualifications with relevant work skills; or
  • relevant experience and work skills commensurate with the requirements of the position.
  1. Conditions of Employment

»Conditions of employment are as per the City of Casey Enterprise Agreement, Casey’s policies and procedures and the letter of offer.

»Hours - The position is full-time. The nature of the position will require you to work after hours including weekends and evenings. Arrangements will be negotiated with you in conjunction with your Supervisor.

»Health Declaration - The preferred applicant is required to complete a Health Declaration form and return it to the Occupational Health and Safety Co-ordinator prior to commencement.

»Criminal Records Check - This position is subject to the successful applicant having a satisfactory Police Check prior to commencement at Council’s expense and then as regularly as the position requires as per Council Policy.

»Working with Children Check – This position is subject to the successful applicant having a satisfactory Working with Children Check prior to commencement, and then as regularly as per legislative requirements.

»Driving Licence – The incumbent must hold a Current Driver's Licence which allows them to drive within Victoria.

»Transport – Employees must use Council vehicles for work-related travel whenever practical to do so. If employees use privately-owned vehicles for work-related travel Council recommends the vehicle be comprehensively insured and the insurance company notified that the vehicle is being used for work-related travel. If an employee using a privately owned, comprehensively insured vehicle for work-related travel is involved in an accident they may be eligible for reimbursement of the insurance excess. Vehicles not comprehensively insured will not be eligible for reimbursement.

»Sick Leave - A medical certificate may be required for any absence and must be provided for sick leave exceeding three working days or absence on the working day before or after a rostered day off, annual leave or public holiday.

»Multiskilling - Employees may be directed to carry out any duties consistent with their skills, competence and training provided the duties do not result in de-skilling them.

»Risk Management – Employees must comply with risk management policy and procedures.

»Employment Status - The successful applicant must provide proof of permission to work in Australia prior to commencement.

»Probation Period - In accordance with Federal Government legislation, a six month Probation Period applies
