Insurance Requirements

Renter must provide to THT a Certificate of Insurance showing general liability with limits of at least $300,000 one month before event by . Your insurance agent can provide you with this certificate. Renter is responsible for any and all damages to the building.

Technical Requirements

Send technical requirements to the THT Technical Director, Jess Krol, at her email address: or call (802) 388-1436. THT supplies basic lighting and sound support. Details will need to be discussed with Jess. THT reserves the right to determine acceptable sound levels for amplified music.

Additional Information

·  Renter is responsible for setup and breakdown of tables and chairs.

·  Dressing Rooms – THT has a dressing room on the lower level with seating for 8 and another on the theater level with seating for 2. Both have private bathrooms.

·  Decorations – Lit candles may be used if in safe containers on tables (tea light cups, votives, small jars, etc.). Renter may not affix posters or decorations to any surface in the building other than the designated poster areas in the lobby. Free standing greenery, archway, helium balloons attached to weights set on the floor are allowable. No rice, flower petals, birdseed, confetti, etc. may be used inside or outside the theater building.

·  THT will provide two supervisory staff during the event.

Renter shall not use the premises for:

1) any purpose other than the originally designed intentions

2) the conduct of any dangerous or offensive activity

3) the creation of a public nuisance

4) anything that is against the laws or rules of local, state or federal government

5) the consumption of tobacco or illegal drugs

6) destructive or disrespectful behavior

Clean-up

THT will supply trash barrels, wastebaskets and bags for cleanup. Renter agrees to put all trash in the receptacles provided by THT. Renter is not expected to clean the facility in any extraordinary way. It is recommended that more than at least two people assist with clean-up. Our technical director will be on hand to supervise. Renter is responsible for any unusual clean-up costs and may forfeit the damage deposit if extra costs occur.

It is understood that this agreement is binding on all parties. It cannot be canceled except as follows: Renter and THT mutually agree that either party may cancel this contract and all parties shall be released from any liability or damages. This is the entire agreement between the parties and may be modified only by a written agreement of changes signed by both parties.
