1. PROGRESS TO DATE FOR COMPLIANCE WITH HEOA:

The Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) was enacted on August 14, 2008. The HEOA contains numerous federal reporting and disclosure requirements for information from various administrative areas of higher education institutions. In order to make this information readily available, Nazareth College has created a website which is designed to provide quick access to this data. The consumer information has been organized into six categories with links to additional information.

1)  Financial Aid

2)  General Institutional Information

3)  Health and Safety

4)  Student Outcomes

5)  Intercollegiate Athletic Program

6)  Voter Registration

The website can be located in two different ways from the Nazareth home page: at the bottom of the page there is a section that says “Student Right to Know” or by detailing into the section entitled About Nazareth – “Student Right to Know” is the last bullet.

2. ENROLLMENT UPDATE:

Freshman deposits are at 469 which is 31 below our target number of 500. The discount rate for these students is 43.9% which is below the target of 45%. As of May 16th, 107 transfer students have deposited. The transfer target number for 2012-13 is 190 students. Graduate deposits are at 206 with a majority of them in the Health and Human Service areas.

3. PARENT PROGRAM CHANGES:

·  Bobby Maldonado, Director of Campus Safety, and Amy Fisher, Assistant Director of Career Services will be taking on additional duties this fall as the Parent Programs Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator respectively. Both Bobby and Amy will be performing this responsibility in addition to their regular jobs at no additional costs to the College.

4. COMMENCEMENT DEBRIEFING:

·  It was decided that next year the students will step off at 9:45 a.m. and the actual ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m.

5. UPDATES:

·  Nancy Grear reminded all that the status of their annual goals are due by June 1st. This is the first year in consolidating goal reporting across campus which will minimize the number of different reports required from each of us.
