· This type of text gives facts, examples, and explanations about a topic. It may include text features such as headings, charts, diagrams, or time lines that organize information.
Writing – Ideas
· Writers want their ideas to be clear to readers. One way they do this is by focusing on one idea in each paragraph. Then they develop the paragraph with interesting facts and examples.

· A noun names a person, place, thing, event, or idea. We will focus on common/proper nouns and concrete/abstract nouns.
