Competition type: Minigolf Open Standard. Rules 2.7 of WMF rules apply
Competition format: 8 round cumulative strokeplay competition on single course. 5 rounds on Saturday commencing 10am and 3 rounds on Sunday commencing 8am. Top 18 only to play final round.
Categories: Irish Open Champion and Irish National Champion
Prize fund: €3500
Prizes will be awarded for the open competition and best Irish qualified players. Irish qualified players may also win open competition prizes.

Participation fee: Registration and payment to be made online only via www.eventbrite.ie Irish Minigolf Open 2017 .Participation fee €40 for international players and €20 for Irish players. Rainforest adventure golf is subsidising 50% of fee for local players to encourage participation.
Practice Fee: No practice fees. Open practice available 10am to 10pm Monday 12th to Thursday 15th February. Closed practice Friday 10am to 3pm.
Opening Ceremony: A reception will be held on Friday 17th at 6.30 pm to open the competition. Details to be advised.
Travel and Accomodation: Overseas players should fly to Dublin airport. The course is located in Dundrum at Dundrum Town Centre (shopping centre) on the south side of the city and is a 2 minute walk from the Luas stop (Tram stop) at Balally. It is also easily accessible by car and there is paid parking at the shopping centre.
Our hotel partner is the Clayton Hotel in Sandyford which is 5 minutes from the course by Luas and is a 2 minute walk at each end .

· The Clayton Hotel is serviced by the aircoach departing opposite Dublin Airport arrivals hall
· The aircoach departs every 20 minutes between 04:30 and 12:30, then every hour between 12:30 and 04:30
· Tickets can be purchased on the coach or online at www.aircoach.ie
· The aircoach stopsdirectly outside the Clayton Hotel in Leopardstown The aircoach costs from €7.00 each way
