*Scholarship awarded: / October 15th
*Scholarship will be awarded as soon as enrollment notification is received.
Eligibility Requirements:
ü Be a high school senior
ü Be an undocumented student
ü Provide high school transcript
ü Have a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.00 scale
ü Planning to pursue higher education with the goal of returning to the community
ü Write a creative personal statement
ü Provide enrollment notification when
ü accepted to college
ü Provide proof of community service
ü (Complete community service form)
ü Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
1. High School staff (teacher/counselor/advisor)
2. Community Service Advisor
Selection Criteria:
· Academic Record
· Personal Qualities
· 20 hrs. of Community Service
· Quality of essay
Application Preparation:
Please make TWO (2) copies of the following;
1. Application: use blue or black ink in the application. Applications that are illegible or incomplete will be disqualified. Check your essays for correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Essays must be typed.
2. High School transcript: you may submit unofficial transcripts.
3. College enrollment: provide proof of enrollment either schedule, or enrollment verification form.
*Points will be deducted if two copies of each of the above materials are not made.
*After submitting essays check your email for updates
Scholarship amount: $500.00
