Churchs Admins have automated the process for downloading / uploading the data files from ADP / LMS. Scheduler is created which is responsible to run the scripts for the processes to download and validate the data in the downloaded sheets without any intervention.

Scheduler downloads the file from ADP, which contains the incomplete / inappropriate Church’s hierarchy data;once the ADP file is downloaded - it will be compared with the USGN Hierarchy data while in the process of creating LMS_CreateFile.

If the Learn.com file is not created successfully, helpdesk will get an email from with subject “Error creating Learn.com File”.

Purpose

This document serves the purpose of handling the task when an error is generated.See below the steps to handle the error.

Handling Error creating Learn com File

1)In the server 10.90.5.8 system every day 3:45 AM EST LMS_Downloadscheduler will run. It will download the FTP_Learn_File.csv file into below location E:\CFC_Shared_data\CFCFS02\CFC\PeopleServices\RADS_to_ADP\LMS\OUTBOUND

2)At 3:52 AM EST LMS_CreateFile scheduler will run. It will update the FTP_Learn_File.csv file. If any exception occurred in the file Helpdesk with get mail with subject “Error Creating Learn com File” like below attached.

3)If Helpdesk got the above mail they should login to the 10.90.5.8 and disable the scheduler LMS_Upload before 4:00 AM EST. And they need to inform the dev team regarding failure.

Following are the steps to disable the scheduler.

1)Open Schedulers right click on LMS_Uploadandselectproperties. And uncheck the enabled check box and click on OK.
