SHELAGH 175: The 175th anniversary of Sacred Heart Church, Shelagh will be celebrated on Sun June 23rd (11am Mass) with Bishop Clifford presiding at this special occasion.
BOOK LAUNCH: A lavishly illustrated history of the church in Shelagh since 1838 will be launched next Friday June 7th in Naomh Malachi Clubrooms over a cup of tea after the Cemetery Blessing. All welcome. The book will be on sale at €7 or £6. The author, Sr. Una Agnew, SSL, a native of the district, will speak at the launch.
