Annual Meeting
October 1-3, 2006
The WVEDC will be holding its 2006 Annual Meeting and Conference at the new Bridgeport Conference Center and Wingate Inn in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The facility is located just off exit 124 on I-79.
This year’s conference should be very interesting and educational. Something new this year will be a New Member Orientation on Monday morning from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. In addition, we will have a number of speakers discussing available financing from the private sector and a detailed presentation from Katy Mallory and John Stump from Steptoe and Johnson on how to finance industrial/business parks and buildings. The conference will also have a number of presentations on using the internet and a presentation by Mark James of ED Solutions of Columbus, Ohio on web based marketing and ready to build sites.
Remember this year we will also elect new officers and regional representatives from the even numbered regions. You will be receiving information on nominations for these positions through a separate mailing.
