Hey Teachers! What’s UP?

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming UP May 6-10 and the PTA just wanted to give you a heads UP on our plans. So sit UP, listen UP, and be prepared to soak UP the love.

First, fill UP the attached “What’s UP?” questionnaire by this Friday, April 26. Put your completed paper in a box in the faculty room labeled “UP!” Don’t mess UP because it will be UP on display in the cafeteria hall for all the students to read UP on and see, along with your picture.

Second, we have something planned each day to lift UP your spirits and show you how much we appreciate all our amazing staff here at our school! Here is our schedule:

MONDAY- Batter UP

Watch for a baseball treatto turn UP in your box. Your students will be wearing baseball caps and they will step UP to the plate just for you. The PTA has a fun giveaway for you this day as well to liven UP your day!

TUESDAY- Wake UP

Wake UP early and come get a light breakfast (no Kneaders this year people) before you start your day. And your students will lighten UP your day with a fun questionnaire!

WEDNESDAY- Giddy UP

Giddy UP on over to our Western BBQ lunch. This will be the full lunch spread with pulled pork sandwiches, Texas Roadhouse rolls, beans, salads and desserts – only the BEST for our amazing faculty and staff - so be sure to eat UP! Look for your students to help Round UP school supplies for your classroom.

THURSDAY- Surf’s UP

Surf’s UP in the faculty room at lunch time today! Come slurp UPa refreshing smoothie from the Smoothie King during your lunch break…ahhh. Look for some sunny notes from your students to Brighten UP your day as well.

FRIDAY- Dress UP

Your students may come all dressed UP to show respect for YOU - their amazing teachers. How about a beautiful flower to help Lighten UP your classroom and your day? Bottoms UP in the faculty room with a little 7-UP and a music at lunch time – relax and soak UP the ambiance  Your room mom just might have a special something she thought UP for you this day as well!

We hope our plans don’t mess UP your teaching time, but the PTA wanted to give you two thumbs UP for all you do! Keep UP the good work.

(Please tell us you caught on to the theme this year for Teacher Appreciation Week: UP!)
