They have the power to become the most successful generation ever. They have passion, drive and, with the support of their families and communities, the resources they need to make it to and through college. Truly, they are the movement. They are Generation TX.

GenTX Way to Payis a seasonal promotion focused onhelping Regional P-16 Councils and community partners clarify the processes of applying for student financial aid and tackling the challenging FAFSA application. Financial aid does not have a one-size-fits-all solution, especially for underserved populations with the greatest need. Now is the perfect opportunity to offer inspiring direction that will ease confusion and help students and families understand financial aid.

We are calling on you to join us in inspiring and informing students about ways to pay for college through events within our community. We encourage you to visit GenTX.org/FinancialAidfor more information about GenTX Way to Pay and to download the GenTX Way to Pay Planning Guide for ideas of how your business can get involved. We will also be working with local publications and business journals to highlight events and workshops, and to showcase supporters.

Engage Our Team

We will engage business partners and employees to help with local financial aid events in our community. This could include providing volunteers to help fill out FAFSA forms, recruiting speakers for local events and partnering with our local P-16 council(s) and high schools to secure media partnerships and/or local celebrities to endorse the concepts and messages of GenTX Way to Pay.

Endorse Generation TX and GenTX Way to Pay

We will publicly endorse Generation TX and GenTX Way to Pay by:

  • Promoting it in our company newsletters.
  • Downloading posters and brochures at and visibly displaying and distributing them at our business locations.
  • Creating a special GenTX Way to Pay message on our organization’s sign/marquee and sending out the GenTX declaration as a company-wide communication.
