MS will be issuing an automated update for the change to daylight savings time (early than in years past). No new feedback from ETRPC members or their colleagues. Send anything to Saville.
b. Appropriate Use of Laptops – Academic Honesty Issues (sample syllabi statements)
Flaherty had comments from Strahn, including his statement he includes in his syllabus. Also in WebC, there is an initial assignment that makes students agree to a variety of conditions including a section on academic honesty. Flaherty will forward to Saville. Flaherty indicated that other issues such as the lock-down browser and the ability/functions of WebCT to determine academic (dis)honesty would be helpful in this statement. Donovan has some wording to alert students to the wrongs of sharing of files.
4. New Business
a. Good of the order
Saville says on March 15th & 16th a Nova University faculty member ( will offer a couple workshops Thursday on developing exemplary online courses and then Friday offering one-on-one sessions with faculty.
Kirk indicated that his colleagues and students have commented on the poor performance of the wireless network at the PEIF. Limback will look into.
