Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Hours and schedule may vary throughout the year. This is a 12-month position.

General Statement: Holy Family Academy (HFA) is an independent private Catholic high school for students who are serious about post-secondary education that will lead to a career. The philosophy of the school is based on the dignity and value of work as necessary to live a meaningful life.
All students participate in a Corporate Work Study Program where they work one day each week at prestigious companies, gaining valuable skills and real-world, relevant job experience. HFA focuses on providing students with multiple paths to a future career, college, apprenticeship programs, or other technical training programs. By providing a rigorous, relevant, real-world, 21st century curriculum and in-depth work experience, HFA will prepare students for a diverse array of jobs and careers after high school. The Pittsburgh region is home to many industries, such as technology, energy, financial, and healthcare, that are in high demand.
This position supervise and coordinate the transportation operations of the school.

Essential Functions:

  1. Promotes the Mission and Philosophy of Holy Family Institute.
  2. Meet with principal, administrators and other personnel to ensure the smooth operation of the transportation of the students.
  3. Cooperate with administration in monitoring eligibility and providing awareness of academic and athletic scholarship opportunities beginning grade nine.
  4. Contribute to growth and development of the program.
  5. Demonstrates knowledge of department matters.
  6. Prepare athletic budgets.
  7. Coordinate the planning transportation of students.
  8. Continue to investigate possible ways to maintain cost-efficient transportation system for HFA and other programs on the main campus.
  9. Maintains a positive working relationship with parents and fellow staff.
  10. Completes required documentation in keeping with agency standards.
  11. Develops skills to enhance job performance.
  12. Available and flexible for evening events, activities and meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree. Valid PA driver’s license and current Act33/34, FBI clearances are required also. Demonstrated successful leadership and related experience in managing an athletic program and/or transportation coordination. Prior management/supervisory experience a plus. EOE
