Revised 2017 - General Supplies for all Middle School Students
Homeroom supplies: [To be collected on the first day of school]
· 3 boxes of tissues
· 2 rolls paper towels
· 2 containers of wipes (antibacterial)
· 1 package loose leaf paper (NOT college rule) to be kept in classroom.
Student Supplies (all grades):
· 6 - 12 pens (blue or black) (NO click pens or gel pens)
· 12 pencils w/erasers
· 1 plastic container for art supplies 9 ½ ” or smaller (should fit on top shelf of locker)
· 1 pair of scissors (kept in art box)
· 4 glue sticks (kept in art box)
· 1 set of colored pens (daily use)
· 4 highlighter marker (daily use)
· 1 box 24 crayons (kept in art box)
· 1 package color markers (kept in art box)
· 1 package color pencils (kept in art box)
· 1 hand held sharpener (kept in art box)
· 1 zipper pouch for pens and pencils
· All text books must be covered. Cloth covers must be size LARGE.
Grades 6-8 are required to have the following materials for Art Class:
(yes, these materials are separate from the art box for your academic classes)
· 1 Two-pocket folder
· 9x12 Sketchbook (8x10 is acceptable)
o (please not newsprint, nor textured)
· 1 pencil bag or box
· 2 regular black sharpies
· 2 fine point sharpies
· 1 handheld pencil sharpener (with container for shavings)
· 3 regular #2 pencils (not mechanical)
· 1 vinyl or plastic bar eraser (hint: usually white)
· 2 black pens
· 1 set of assorted paintbrushes
o (recommended: Craft Smart All Purpose 5pc set OR Artist’s Loft Multipurpose 10pc set. Easy to find or order from Michaels)
· 1 smock or old shirt
Subject Area Supplies: For students entering Grade 6
Faith
· One 2-pocket folder with fasteners
Health
· 1 one subject notebook for notes
Language Arts/ Literature supplies
· Grade 6 Literature/Languages Arts: one 1” three-ring binder with dividers (yellow, is preferred)
· 1 - package Divider Tabs for binder (5 tabs)
· 2 - packs of 2”X2” post it notes
Math supplies
· 1- Calculator (Casio fx 300 ES or TI 30xa) Not to use until after Christmas
· 1 - graphing pad/notebook
· 2 – 3 subject notebook with pocket dividers or 1 ½” binder with pocket dividers
· 1 - hand held pencil sharpener that collects shavings

· 1 - Zippered pencil pouch (for Math only) to take to class
· 12 - Pencils for math only, kept in the math zipper pouch.
