Pat Jacoby, M. Ed.
Pat Jacoby is an educational consultant in curriculum and assessment design based in Austin, Texas. Pat has been consulting with school districts throughout the United States for over 15 years. A former classroom teacher, curriculum specialist for the Texas Education Agency, curriculum and assessment specialist for Regional 13 Education Service Center, and Curriculum Director for Wimberley ISD, she now works extensively with standards-based design for state and local curriculum and assessment systems. Her specialty is performance assessment with a focus on helping teachers provide students with specific feedback and analyzing student data to improve instruction.
Ms. Jacoby holds mid-management certificates from Texas and Washington. Publications include resources for all subject areas K-12. She has organized and presented at many state and national conferences on curriculum development, assessment design, scoring student work, and analyzing student data.
