ALL SCHOOL:
· First Period Teachers, Picture packets have arrived from Ripcho Studios. You will find in your mailbox student pictures. Please distribute these pictures. If you find that you have a picture of a student not on your class roster, please return the picture to Mrs. Jamieson (10/3)
· Picture Retake Please remind all students on October 18th , Ripcho Studios will be here to take pictures of students and staff that didn't have the opportunity to get their picture taken the first time. If a student wants to retake their picture, they must bring their packet of pictures to give to a Ripcho representative before they can retake their picture.(10/18)
· Please plan to attend tonight's National Honor Society Meeting. We will meet in B01 at 3:15PM sharp. We have a special guest speaker; please do not be late!!! Again, the NHS meeting is tonight in B01 at 3:15PM. See you there!!!(10/3)
· Attention Book Clubbers: we have a meeting today after school in the library from 3:15-4:00. Hope to see you all there!

· The French Club will reschedule its fall fashion show tomorrow, Wednesday, October 4, in B-03, at 3:15 Remember wear your best French scarf--and your French tee-shirt! Come share some croissants and café in B-03, tomorrow, Wednesday, October 4, at 3:15.(10/4)
· Congratulations to the Brush Academic Team! They competed at Case Western Reserve University on Saturday in their annual Trash Tournament. Owen Seddon, Gwyneth Seddon, John Drury and Jamie Schmidt earned 3rd place out of 16 teams. Owen Seddon placed 3rd in overall points earned in the entire tournament!! The next tournament is Saturday, October 14th, in Solon. Go Arcs!!(10/5)
· Attention Brush HS Students: Our Jostens Representative will be here to take Class Ring Orders on Friday, October 6th during lunch. Please remember your order form and deposit on order day. Extra packets are available in the Principals office or visit www.jostens.com to design yours online and print off an order form.
o Sophomores will receive a FREE HOODIE if order is placed in school on Friday. Other promotions available for Juniors and Seniors on Friday only!!! If you have any questions, please call 1-800-567-8367.
· Attention Brush Students: The MAC (Mentoring. Achievement. Community.) Program needs you!!
MAC is open to ALL students regardless of race and/or ethnicity. All student participants are known as MAC Ambassadors. APPLY NOW to participate in fun activities, exposure experiences and field trips to:
o Promote academic achievement;
o Encourage college & career readiness;
o Strengthen 21st century skills and competencies;
o Celebrate arts and culture; and
o Serve the community
Request a MAC Ambassador Application from the ATTENDANCE OFFICE! Meetings are after school – Refreshments are served! **Application Deadline is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 4, 2017** Return Applications to the ATTENDANCE OFFICE or to a MAC Advisor. Look for posters for more information. (10/4)
· Homecoming 2017 is right around the corner. Tickets for the event can be purchased on EZ pay through the district website. The first 200 students who purchase tickets on EZ pay will be entered into a raffle to win a full refund for their homecoming ticket and their date's homecoming ticket. Instructions for this process can be found in the Homecoming Informational Packet. A copy of this packet was sent to your student email. Please see Mr. Agrast or Mrs. Jamieson if you have questions. · Student Congress Homecoming Court Elections will take place from October 2, 2017-October 6, 2017. A Google form will be sent to your school email by next Monday. Please submit your ballot during Academic Lab. The top 5 men and women will become the 2017 Homecoming Court, and the man and woman with the most votes will be crowned King and Queen at the Brush Homecoming game on Friday, October 13, 2017. · Homecoming Permission Slip If you are bringing a guest from another school to Homecoming, you must pick up a guest permission slip in the Main Office(10/5)
· Homecoming Decorating will take place from 3:15-5:15 October 2nd thru October 11th. All students in need of volunteer hours can attend.(10/11)
· Student of the Month for September 2017 -We take this opportunity to recognize and congratulate our September 2017 Students of the month! Our students of the month will receive a certificate of recognition and a gift card! See Mrs. Sanford tomorrow, Wednesday, October 4th before school, during lunch, or after school to pick them up. Also, your names will scroll on our marquee that sits on Mayfield Road starting today.
