Although this happened after the August Conference Call, Bravo Zulu to all involved in the revamping and tremendous redesigning of the PHSAPA Website...Well Done!!! A very special thanks to LT Rodney Sluss (soon to be LCDR Rodney Sluss) for his vast amount of work and research, thus helping to make the new PHSAPA Website a tremendous success! Please visit the new Website at your earliest convenience.
Additionally, since the August Conference Call, the PHSAPA is also on the HSO Facebook Page. Please check it out, and thanks to all responsible for this as well.

Opening/ Welcome/ Introduction and Election Results / · CDR Dib gave a warm welcome to everyone who was able to be present at the meeting.
· Introduction of the newest officers:
§ LT Jeremy Parmley - Has been with the USPHS, as a PA-C, for 8 years. He’s been selected for promotion to LCDR (10/1/11). Currently, he’s assigned to the Indian Health Service in New Mexico, and is the assistant E.R. Director.
§ LT Kathy Demers - Currently assigned to the Federal Bureau of Prisons at FCI El Reno, OK. She’s worked as a USPHS PA-C for 2 ½ years with the FBOP, and is now the Acting Asst. Health Services Administrator.

· Checks have been received for new members, $70.
· Discussed having a reminder system for membership renewal. LCDR Grove offered to try to get the roster of all PHS PA’s from the PAPAG.
· CDR Dib stated that this year’s goal is to provide added value with our PHSAPA membership.
· LCDR Lafleur, with CDR Swanson’s help, will work on contacting existing PHSAPA members and those who need to renew. An additional goal will be to contact former members to help them rejoin.

Conclusion / · Unanimous approval of Wesitemanagementservices.com...LCDR Lafleur will work w/LT Sluss on the acquisition of this service provider.
· CDR Dib and LT Demers agreed to help LT Sluss with the creation of a Website Committee.
· LT Sluss commented about reviewing Website Rates, Services, and contacting them.
· LT Sluss: Hosting, from $11.95 to $20/month vs. an hourly amount ($25/hour), or an all services provided for one fee type of a set-up (Websitemanagementservices.com).
· LT Demers and CDR Dib will work w/the new service for an upgrade.

· LCDR Lafleur said he will continue to work with LT Sluss.
