*Please note: There will be a program of events for the duration of the day. And while there is no explicit requirement for your stall to be staffed at all times, we will shortly release a program that will demonstrate a constant flow oftraffic to the Event. The 2pm start/ finish time allows for vehicles to enter and exit the venue safely should you wish.

CONDITIONS OF BUNBURY MULTICULTURAL NIGHT UNDER THE STARS

  1. Public Liability Insurance:

All stalls are required to have insurance. Food and product stalls who have their own ABN/ACN are required to provide their own public liability insurance (a copy must be provided to the Stall Coordinator with this form). Information and other stalls maypurchase insurance coverage from the Bunbury Multicultural Group. This will be determined on an individual basis and is subjectto the event insurer's acceptance under the existing policy. The fee for South West Multicultural Festival providing insurance coverage for stallholders will be $10 and is in addition to the stallholder fee.

  1. Stallholders participate in the South West Multicultural Festival at their own risk and are required to indemnify and hold harmless the South West Multicultural Festival against any claim for damages, costs, claims, expenses and liabilities. (Including without limitations consequential loss and loss of profits) in respect of any loss, damage, injury, disease or death caused through any of the stallholders activities at the South West Multicultural Festival.
  1. Festival hours are from 9.00am to 9.30pm on Saturday 27th February 2015.
  1. Stall set up time will be from 6:30am - 8:30am. You will have vehicle access to this area during this period. All support vehicles are required to be removed to the parking areas by 8:00am. Stalls are to be ready for trading by 9:00am.
  1. Stalls are not to be dismantled before 9.00pm Stall Holders will be required to operate between the hours of 9.00am until 9.00pm. It is expected that all stallholders will have enough supplies to operate throughout this period.
  1. Stall fees will not be refunded should inclement weather or factors beyond the control of the South West Multicultural Festival management affect the event.
  1. No refunds will be given for cancellations of bookings made within two weeks prior to the Festival.
  1. The South West Multicultural Festival management reserves the right to refuse any applicant to maintain the spirit of the Festival or change stall locations without notice.
  1. Stallholders displaying political or religious materials are not permitted at the South West Multicultural Festival
  1. Temporary Food Stalls – must comply with City of Bunbury Guidelines for Temporary Food Premises.
  1. Stall Holders are to provide their own tables, chairs and weather protection (shades, tents etc). Spikes / Tent Pegs may not be driven into the ground in some stall areas. Stallholders must provide their own weights or methods of securing shelters in these cases. Stallholders are responsible for the erection and dismantling of their own shades. Weather conditions may necessitate the need for wind barriers – please come prepared.
  1. Stall Holders who have indicated that they require a powered site (see front of application) shall provide their own electrical leads that must be tested and tagged in accordance with the electrical regulations. The South West Multicultural Festival management reserves the right to refuse connection to power if safety standards are not adequate. Leads must be covered by carpet or tape to reduce trip hazards.

The South West Multicultural Festival is a SMOKE FREE FAMILY EVENT

The Annual South West Multicultural Festival is a non-profit event managed within the local community.

Funds generated by the food, marketinformation stalls site fees, together with grants from government and other sources, are used to assist in the provision of activities, live entertainment, advertising and amenities. The provision of such activities ensures a large crowd patronises the event. In turn, community groups and stallholders enjoy the benefits of promotion, fundraising activities and sales respectively.
