The ALA and RMLL are hosting the 2012Junior Combine at the LeducRecCenter in Leduc.

  • Open to Players Born in 1995 and players who played Jr. B Tier II in 2011
  • Players will participate in two 75 min on floor sessions consisting of drills and scrimmages.
  • Representatives from various Junior Teams will be in attendance and will run the on floor sessions.
  • Players will attend an information session on post Midget lacrosse opportunities (Jan 10, 2012, 7-9 pm TwilligerRecCenter).
  • Players must pay a non-refundable$20.00 fee to the Alberta Lacrosse Association for the combine. The budget for the event is cost neutral and any proceeds will be donated to the Right to Play foundation.
  • Maximum 51 runners and 9 goalies (3 groups of 17 runners and 3 goalies)
  • Registration Deadline is January 21st/ 2012

The 2012 ALA-RMLL Junior Combine- North

On Saturday January 28th and Sunday January 29th 2012 the ALA-RMLL are hosting a combine for Graduating Midgets and players who played Junior B Tier II in 2011 in Northern Alberta at the Leduc Rec Center from 6:30 pm – 7:45 pm on Saturday and 8:00 am – 10:45 am on Sunday.

The combine is open to all Graduating Midgets (born in 1995) and players who played Jr. B Tier II in 2011 inNorthern Alberta. It offers players the opportunity to showcase their skills in front ofboth theEdmontonJunior A coaching staffs, as well as, theEdmonton Junior B tier 1&2 coaching staffs before the upcoming RMLL drafts.

Prior to the on floor sessions all participants will attend an information session explaining the transition from minor to junior lacrosse. Representatives from the various clubs will lead players through the process of playing at the various levels available. The information session will be held on Tuesday January 10, 2012 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Twilliger Rec Center Meeting Room B.

The skills portion will be ran at a fast pace to prepare players for Junior A and B lacrosse.Each participant will be placed on one of three teams for two on floor sessions. The teams will be coached by representatives of the Junior A/B clubs that will be in attendance. All scrimmages will be controlled and officiated.
